Suhaib has been practicing Ruqyah since 2009 and offers treatment throughout the UK. He has also been trained in spiritual cleansing from Malaysia (2013). He has been practicing Hijama since 2011, trained by HPA (Malaysia) and qualified as CHP (Certified Hijama Practitioner) in 2012 via the training institute Hijama Nation (UK).
Previously, Suhaib held positions in several organisations including Sheffield Hallam University Islamic Society (President 2003/4) and Sheffield Malaysian Students Association (Secretary of Religious Bureau 2003/4). Throughout his university years, he regularly delivered the sermon for Friday Prayers at the university.
He holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Business Studies (2005) from Sheffield Hallam University and a Diploma in Psychotherapy (2011). He also has over 8 years of experience in Project Management.
He is the founder of Sunnah Health Care, a not-for-profit organisation seeking to expand knowledge of alternative healthcare techniques as well as to improve societal health.
Mujahid brings along a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team. He has been practicing Hijama since 2014 and is a registered practitioner of GRCCT (The General Regulatory Council for Complementary Therapies) as well as being a member of HNA (Hijama Nation Association). He is a qualified (Level 5 Diploma) ‘Advanced Clinical Weight Loss Practitioner’, ‘Detox Specialist’ and ‘Nutritional Therapist’. With this background, he is undertaking research on the effectiveness of Hijama therapy.
Dr Rukhsar Shafiq spent 15 years in research of spirituality which culminated in a PhD in Metaphysical Mechanics and Neurology from a Majlis Ash-Shura of Shuyookh consisting of scholars, academics and spiritual practitioners from Hadramaut, North Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia. The PhD was awarded in 2006 in Jakarta, Indonesia. During those 15 years, Dr Shafiq studied all forms of monotheism related to both the modern and ancient world. His research tracked the use of monotheism in different languages, races, nations and rituals. He has been running his own private medical clinic since 2006. His recent research projects have included Herbal Medicine for Type 2 Diabetes, The use of Metaphysics for Arthritis and The Study of the Different Civilisations of One God in the Horn of Africa for the last 10,000 years. He also has a 29 year background in Computing and is formally qualified in Project Management. He is the founder of a Business School and Professor for the Centre of Business Intelligence and Predictive Analytics. He also acts as Professor of Strategic Studies for the Qur’anic Finance Institute.
In 1998 Dr Shafiq founded the College of Islamic Medicine, as an intellectual research body for the revival of Islamic Sciences. Sunnah Health Care is the exclusive training arm of the College of Islamic Medicine.
The knowledge provided by the College of Islamic Medicine is unique, and has been assembled by a body of evidence. The college seeks to establish a clinic and then a hospital to support all its students. Plans for the greatest Islamic Library and Research Centre in the modern world in English are in progress.
Unfortunately, Dr Shafiq passed away on March 2018, however leaves an invaluable legacy of information for Sunnah Health Care to continue developing from.
Claire worked for Toni & Guy for 6 years and was a member of their Junior Artistic Team for 4 years. She has previously represented Toni & Guy on stage at Wembley Stadium and also hairdressed for their fashion shows.
In 2006 she was 1 of 13 people to be chosen from Great Britain to have a place on ‘Project X’ run by The Fellowship For British Hairdressers, allowing her to attend monthly workshops in London with the top professionals. She has been personally trained by Andrew Barton and other leaders of the field and has trained others over a span of 15 years. Her experience and talent led her to become one of the most sought after hairdressers in Sheffield.
Around 2007, Claire began her spiritual journey after seeing images of children living in poverty. She started using her skills to raised money to help children and families in need. She has since been heavily involved in project work in India where she ran hairdressing workshops for women from poor families. She joined Sunnah Health Care to continue her charity work and to continue providing high quality services to the community at much lower than market prices.

Addawiah has been heavily involved in several organisations in Malaysia. She was president of GPTD-UK (2006-2008) where she organised the “International Youth Exchange Programme” in 2007 consisting of participants from different countries including Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Cambodia, United Kingdom and Malaysia. The programme consisted of many activities regarding civilisation and culture.
In 2006, as part of her role in GPTD, she was facilitator in Langkawi Island where she was involved in motivation programmes for primary school children and preparation for their exams. In the same year she went to Ketam Island to assist the Chinese revert Muslims by teaching them about basic Islam understandings and delivering donations collected from ABIM (Youth Islamic Movement of Malaysia).
She has a diploma in Information Technology from International Islamic College (part of International Islamic University of Malaysia) and worked with GPM (Global Peace Mission of Malaysia) as a Graphics and Multimedia IT Specialist for a year in 2008.
Between 2007-2008, she studied in Universiti Tenaga Nasional where she was also a committee member for her University’s Community Service Programme. She was heavily involved in helping orphans including teaching primary school kids, organising Iftar, Terawih prayers and other activities at the university mosque.
She is a Certified Hijama Practitioner (CHP) from Hijama Nation (2009) and completed a Diploma in ‘Master Herbalist (Phytotherapy) Level 5’ (2015).
